Music has always been another important layer of my creative expression. Over the years, I’ve recorded several mixtapes, blending music and field recordings as a natural extension of my visual work. Just like in design, I see mixtapes as an opportunity to tell a story — curating tracks that flow together to create a specific atmosphere.

A particularly special mixtape in this series is De Gevoelige Mannen Mixtape, which features music specifically by and for sensitive males, with the occasional mantear along the way.. 🥲 Because men have feelings too, you know.

I’ve been creating music — off and on — for the two decades, exploring different sounds and ideas along the way. The following mixtape brings together a collection of old tracks and unfinished melodies composed between 2001 and 2021 — fragments of my musical journey, capturing memories of experimentation and musical freedom:
